Si avvicina il periodo più sacro per il mondo musulmano, le 4 settimane di Ramadan, che ricordano la consegna del Corano da parte di Dio al Profeta Maometto, un’occasione di devozione, riflessione e contemplazione della misericordia di Allah swt. Quest’anno il mese di Ramadan dovrebbe iniziare l’1 marzo e terminare il 30 o il 31 marzo. Gli adulti sani digiuneranno dall’alba al tramonto dal bere, dal mangiare, dagli atti immorali e dalla collera e tutti sono invitati a concentrarsi su atti di carità e sulla preghiera. Questo periodo ricorda molto lo spirito con cui i cristiani vivono il periodo della Quaresima, che ha inizio il prossimo 5 marzo. (foto Ansa)
