Come riporta l’Ansa, Donald Trump ha affermato testualmente: “La mia vittoria un grande momento della storia“. Lo ha fatto suo social media Truth.

In una capitale innevata, la cerimonia di proclamazione ufficiale della vittoria del cadidato repubblicano è avvenuta senza incidenti, al contrario di 4 anni fa con la vittoria di Biden, quando migliaia di seguaci del miliardario newyorkese assaltarono il palazzo del Campidoglio. Per gli insorgenti fedeli a Trump è previsto un condono di pena da parte dello stesso nuovo presidente che presterà giuramento tra due settimane.

Secondo la procedura prevista, è stata la vice presidente Kamala Harris a dichiarare eletti a grande maggioranza dei voti Trump e Vance. Il giovane vicepresidente è stato presente a Capitol Hill.

Alla vigilia della sua proclamazione, il nuovo inquilino della Casa Bianca ha ricevuto nella residenza in Florida la presidente del consiglio italiana, Giorgia Meloni, esponente della rete internazionale del blocco dei conservatori che hanno in Trump il punto di riferimento politico.
