Netanyahu negli Usa, esercito avanza a Khan Younis nel sud di Gaza

Lo stesso giorno in cui il primo ministro israeliano Benjamin Netanyahu è partito il 22 luglio per Washington, per rinsaldare i rapporti con gli Usa, l’esercito di Tel Aviv continua l'intervento militare sulla città di Khan Younis, nel sud di Gaza.

Come riporta Pagina esteri «Israele ha inviato nuovamente i carri armati nella vasta area di Khan Younis e almeno 70 palestinesi sono stati uccisi e altro 200 feriti, riferisce il ministero della sanità di Gaza. Molti sono stati uccisi dalle cannonate a Bani Suhaila e in altre località situate nella zona orientale di Khan Younis.

I mezzi corazzati sono avanzati per oltre due chilometri, costringendo gli abitanti a fuggire. Tra i morti ci sono tante donne e bambini. Centinaia di famiglie hanno abbandonato la parte orientale della città senza avere il tempo di mettersi al sicuro prima dell’inizio degli attacchi israeliani».

«Una nota dell’esercito israeliano- come riporta Rainews- fa sapere che in seguito alle operazioni di Hamas per rimettere insieme le sue brigate a Khan Younis e al lancio di razzi dall’area, aerei e carri armati dell’esercito israeliano hanno colpito ed eliminato i terroristi nell’area. Da questa mattina, l’aeronautica militare israeliana e l’artiglieria hanno colpito più di 30 siti di infrastrutture terroristiche a Khan Yunis, compresa l’area da cui è stato lanciato un proiettile verso Nirim, nel sud di Israele».
