Cambio della guardia in quel di Helsinki. Alle elezioni in Finlandia la premier uscente Sanna Marin ha ammesso la sconfitta già nella notte: appariva fin da allora certa la vittoria dei conservatori guidati da Petteri Orpo, che si sono aggiudicati quasi il 21% dei consensi, mentre i socialdemocratici di Marin si sono fermati poco sotto il 20%. Storico risultato per la destra del Partito dei finlandesi guidato da Rikka Purra – di cui si parla ora come possibile futura premier, oltre naturalmente ad Orpo – che si attesterebbe attorno al 20,1%. Petteri Orpo ha parlato di “grande vittoria”. Si prospetta in ogni caso la ricerca di un governo di coalizione, dato che non solo nessun partito da solo dispone della maggioranza, ma nemmeno la si raggiunge sommando i voti di conservatori e destra.
