Il 30 giugno ricorre il Social media day.

Più della metà della popolazione mondiale usa i social media. Ecco perché è stato deciso di dedicare a queste nuove forme di comunicazione una giornata, il Social media Day, lanciato il 30 giugno 2010 dal sito Mashable. Ogni giorno, 4,62 miliardi di persone usano, mediamente, i social per quasi 2 ore e mezza. Ma si “chatta” in Rete non solo per comunicare, farsi conoscere, ascoltare musica, vedere video o “meme” simpatici e divertirsi, ma anche per truffare gli altri, per commettere reati, per approffitarsi dei più fragili. Ecco perché questa ricorrenza serve celebrare un’abitudine ormai consolidata, ma dovrebbe anche aiutarci a riflettere sul tempo che spendiamo su Internet.
