Oltre 6 milioni di rifugiati sono usciti dall’Ucraina dall’inizio del conflitto, mentre più di 8 milioni sono diventati sfollati interni

«Questa guerra non ha e non avrà vincitori. Piuttosto, abbiamo assistito per cento giorni a ciò che è stato perso: vite, case, lavoro e prospettive». Queste le parole di Amin Awad, Segretario generale aggiunto e coordinatore Onu delle crisi per l’Ucraina nel centesimo giorno dell’invasione russa.

Il 3 giugno è iniziata la terza fase della guerra proclamata da Vladimir Putin lo scorso 24 febbraio sotto il nome di “operazione speciale”. Dopo aver conquistato la città portuaria di Mariupol, il presidente russo è riuscito a stabilire un corridoio terrestre dalla Crimea al Donbass e isolare l’Ucraina dalle rotte commerciali provenienti dal mar d’Azov.

Continuano gli attacchi, si espande la violenza indiscriminata e aumenta il numero di vittime da entrambe le parti, mentre dall’Europa incrementano le sanzioni contro la Russia e si cerca una via diplomatica per una guerra senza fine.
