Macron sta facendo la spola tra Mosca e Kiev come rappresentante di turno dell'Unione Europea. Il soggetto politico internazionale finora escluso da un contesa esclusiva tra Usa e Russia che può scatenare il disastro nel continente europeo

La visita del presidente francese Emmanuel Macron a  Mosca e Kiev, per incontrare Vladimir Putin e Volodymyr Zelensky, si presenta iconograficamente, nelle foto di Ap, molto diversa. Dal lunghissimo tavolo che pone i due esponenti politici molto distanti tra loro in Russia, (forse come misura anti Covid?), ai toni distesi in Ucraina.

Il presidente francese è direttamente coinvolto nella campagna elettorale  per il voto previsto a aprile nel suo Paese e ricopre attualmente il ruolo di presidente di turno dell’Unione europea, e cioè del soggetto politico internazionale che finora è stata escluso dallo scontro diretto tra gli Usa e la Russia che rischia di precipitare l’intero continente europeo in una guerra dagli esisti disastrosi e imprevedibili.

Nonostante tutte le rassicurazioni, la situazione non è affatto sotto controllo, se un colosso dell’informazione statunitense, l’agenzia Bloomberg, ha annunciato alle 22 del 4 febbraio l’inizio dell’invasione russa dell’Ucraina.

In questi giorni di tensioneM l’Associated Press pubblica foto molto belle di vita quotidiana in Russia. Immagini che mostrano un mondo che in generale, oltre i confini, va preservato dalla guerra. Come ha ribadito papa Francesco nel collegamento con la Rai di domenica 6 febbraio, «La guerra è sempre distruzione. Portare avanti una famiglia, lavorare una terra, è costruire. Fare una guerra è distruggere, è una meccanica distruttiva».
