È arrivata la decima medaglia delle Olimpiadi invernali per gli azzurri. Dorothea Wierer è salita sul podio in terza posizione nella gara sprint, nella disciplina del biathlon, aggiungendo un bronzo in più ai precedenti tre raggiunti dall’Italia a nove giorni dalla fine dei Giochi. L’altro bronzo della giornata ce l’ha regalato Davide Ghiotto nei 10.000 metri, nella disciplina di pattinaggio di velocità.

Oltre ai bronzi di Dominik Fischnaller nello slittino singolo e di Omar Visintin nello snowboard cross, completano il medagliere quattro argenti: Federico Pellegrino (sci di fondo Sprint TL), Federica Brignone (sci alpino slalom gigante), Francesca Lollobrigida (pattinaggio di velocità 3000 m), Andrea Cassinelli, Yuri Confortola, Arianna Fontana, Pietro Sighel, Martina Valcepina, Arianna Valcepina (short track staffetta mista); e due ori: Arianna Fontana (short track 500 m), Stefania Constantini e Amos Mosaner (curling doppi misti).
