Grande attesa per l’arrivo imminente in Cina di una delegazione di 15 esperti dell’Organizzazione mondiale di Sanità che si recherà anche a Wuhan dove si trova una grande istituto di virologia nonché un grande mercato di animali vivi dal quale si presume sia partita la diffusione del virus Covid 19.

Senza mezzi termini, come è noto, l’amministrazione statunitense guidata da Donald Trump ha sempre parlato di virus “cinese” accusando le autorità di Pechino di aver ritardato le comunicazioni necessarie per impedire il diffondersi del contagio. I vertici del grande Paese asiatico, invece, insistono sull’arrivo del virus dall’estero.

Nelle foto Ap alcune immagini dalla Cina che ha dichiarato di aver azzerato i casi di Covid 19 attuando misure di contenimento e restrizioni molto dure. Fonti che avrebbero necessità di essere confermate dalla presenza dei media sul campo.

È evidente che l’inchiesta dell’Oms è destinata ad accentuare le tensioni geopolitiche tra Cina e gli Usa, coinvolgendo i criteri di gestione dell’organizzazione mondiale della sanità da parte dell’attuale presidente, l’etiope Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. L’esito della ricerca è atteso tra circa 5 settimane, dopo l’effettiva e piena entrata di Biden nella Casa Bianca.
