Nel parco nazionale di Hwange, in Zimbabwe, si sta cercando di capire perché gli elefanti muoiono: forse a causa di una sospetta infezione batterica, forse per aver mangiato piante velenose. Nel frattempo presso lo zoo Maragzar di Islamabad, in Pakistan, i veterinari dell’organizzazione internazionale per il benessere degli animali Four Paws stanno visitando le condizioni di salute dell’elefante “Kaavan”, di 35 anni, prima di trasferirlo in un santuario per animali in Cambogia.
