Con un tempo di 35’54” nella cronometro Filippo Ganna, specialista della velocità, ha regalato all’Italia un successo strepitoso, mai ottenuto prima. A seguire si sono piazzati Wout Van Aert e Stefan Kung, mentre i favoriti Rohan Dennis e Tom Dumoulin sono arrivati rispettivamente quinto e decimo. Ganna si era già laureato campione del mondo quattro volte dal 2016 al 2020 nell’inseguimento individuale e a squadre su pista. (Foto Ap)
