Una nazione che non compare nella nostra informazione, ma che il 24 giugno  torna alle urne per l’ottava volta dopo la fine del regime comunista avvenuta nel 1992.  Solo 2 milioni e 676 mila gli elettori registrati. La Mongolia rappresenta un nodo significativo di contesa tra le grandi potenze mondiali. Dipende per l’energia e le esportazioni da Cina e Russia. In questa competizione elettorale sono presenti anche degli esponenti di movimenti neonazionalisti oltre ad attivisti per i diritti umani.
