Secondo i media francesi, l’aggressore sarebbe un 18enne ceceno, parente di uno degli alunni. Dopo aver minacciato gli agenti, è stato ucciso dalla polizia. Ha fatto in tempo a pubblicare però sul suo profilo Twitter le immagini del suo riprovevole atto. Il movente dell’attentato verrebbe da alcune caricature di Maometto che il professore di Storia e geografia, decapitato nell’hinterland di Parigi, ha mostrato in classe nei giorni scorsi, probabilmente durante una lezione sulla libertà d’espressione. Sia il presidente Macron che il ministro dell’Interno rientrato precipitosamente in città dal Marocco, stanno seguendo le indagini. (foto Lapresse)
