Nelle foto dell’agenzia Ap le immagini della colossale parata militare organizzata in Corea del Nord in occasione del 75esimo anniversario della fondazione del Partito dei Lavoratori. L’autocrate Kim Jong-un ha negato la presenza del Coronavirus nel suo Paese facendo gli auguri ai coreani del Sud per l’uscita dalla pandemia. Ha denunciato il regime di sanzioni internazionali che il suo popolo deve subire affermando «Mi vergogno di non essere stato in grado di ripagarvi appropriatamente della vostra fiducia».

Chi conosce la situazione di questo Paese come Piergiorgio Pescali ci fa sapere che, nonostante le restrizioni, cresce «una nuova classe urbana legata al commercio globalizzato, con nuovi stili di vita occidentali». Ma chi sostiene le spese per gli armamenti? Secondo il professor Antonio Fiori dell’Università di Bologna, intervistato da Radio 24, in Nord Corea sarebbe fiorente l’industria delle armi con clienti internazionali e quello della droga, ma il dato più interessante riguarda la possibilità da parte del suo governo di stampare moneta Usa grazie a codici segreti trafugati dai  servizi segreti nelle fortezze blindate poste a presidio del dollaro.
