Il tennista spagnolo Rafael Nadal ha vinto per la tredicesima volta il grande slam del Roland Garros. Una finale combattuta solo nel terzo set quella con il serbo Novak Djokovic. Il risultato finale è di 6-0, 6-2, 7-5. Nadal ha chiuso il torneo senza perdere nemmeno un set. Con questa vittoria si aggiudica il suo ventesimo titolo dello slam andando a eguagliare lo svizzero Roger Federer (Alessandra Tarantino, Christophe Ena, Michel Euler/AP).
