Il Festival di Jonbeel si svolge vicino a Jagiroad, a circa 75 chilometri a Est di Gauhati, in India. Comunità tribali come Tiwa, Karbi, Khasi e Jaintia provengono dalle colline nelle vicinanze. Numerosi i partecipanti a questo festival che vuole portare armonia e fratellanza tra varie tribù e comunità. In questa occasione si scambiano beni attraverso un codificato sistema di baratto.
