Le piogge torrenziali che hanno causato inondazioni e frane nei comuni ad est di Tokyo hanno aggiunto danni in aree ancora in fase di recupero dai recenti tifoni.

Finora almeno 10 persone hanno perso la vita e altre 4 sono disperse. Le violente perturbazioni sono dovute alla bassa pressione che provoca allagamenti e frane in aree dell’arcipelago centro e nord orientale. La prefettura di Chiba ha chiesto al governo di inviare le Forze di Autodifesa per gestire l’emergenza e velocizzare le operazioni di ricerca dei dispersi.
