Un gita a Davos

I veri raduni esclusivi sono quelli segreti, noti solo ad alcuni per cooptazione e liste coperte con soggetti che indossano, dicono, strani abbigliamenti.

L’incontro annuale di Davos, in Svizzera, è, invece, sempre ad inviti ma molto scenografico perché mette in mostra quelli che sarebbero i leader del panorama politico, finanziario ed economico del mondo.

Seri problemi interni impediscono nell’edizione del 2019 (22-25 gennaio) la partecipazione di Macron, May e Trump. Non si sa se i convegnisti avranno modo, protetti dalla vigile security elvetica, di leggere il rapporto Oxfam che ogni anno l’organizzazione non governativa produce per l’evento con stime e grafici che dimostrano la crescita della diseguaglianza e concentrazione di ricchezza.

Resta il fatto che l’enfatizzazione della idea del leader ha contagiato nel tempo anche l’immaginario di realtà che dovrebbero mantenere cara la loro origine comunitaria. Ma davvero è così attraente?
