Un inferno di fuoco (Woolsey fire) sta devastando tanta parte della California meridionale. Il forte vento Santa Ana, tipico di quella zona, non smette di soffiare e semina distruzione facendo aumentare le evacuazioni soprattutto nelle contee di Los Angeles e Ventura a causa di due incendi particolarmente pericolosi. Uno di questi è appunto il cosiddetto Woolsey fire, divampato a sud di Simi Valley, che ha già minacciato con le sue fiamme circa 30 mila abitazioni, molte sono completamente distrutte. (foto Ap)
