La petroliera iraniana Sanchi è affondata lo scorso 6 gennaio a 160 miglia nautiche (296 chilometri) ad est di Shanghai, nel mar della Cina, in seguito allo scontro con il cargo Cf Crystal di Hong Kong. Resta una macchia oleosa che si estende per più di dieci chilometri e il timore di un grande danno ambientale, anche se il governo cinese minimizza.
