A fine giugno 2017 le agenzie di stampa sono in procinto di annunciare la liberazione della città di Mosul dal dominio del Daesh. Le immagini Ap riportano scende di conflitto e di civili in fuga con le forze irachene che annunciano vittoria. Resta da chiarire l’origine, il finanziamento e la capacità di resistenza di un forza terroristica che si è autoproclamta come Stato.
