Theology’s predisposition to perceive in phenomenology a methodological and content framework more disposable than others to theological-Christian assimilation is undoubtedly one of the key concerns of contemporary theology. Based on this assumption, the Article attempts to highlight the main methodological paradigms on which to evaluate the attempts to date and lay the groundwork for new development. In particular, attention is brought to a non-disciplinary consideration of Phenomenology and to the “Reduction” as the institutive gesture of the phenomenological method.
